This Remington manufactured early variation bolt assembly is for the right handed model 600 bolt action carbine in the short action non-magnum calibers such as: 243 Win. and 308 Win. caliber. This bolt assembly is in very good condition with light wear. Early variation bolt assemblies do NOT have the groove cut in the lower right side of the locking lug.  (file photo)
